2kGrey Presents Devon Kane with Best Seat Award for Week 3 of Adequan Global Dressage Festival

Wellington, Florida , United States (Feb 3, 2014) - “We look for someone who is very well turned out with their attire and whose equitation is above the rest,” said Adult Amateur Intermediare I champion Kristine Pinto, co-founder of 2KGrey jeans and equestrian fashion, on choosing Devon Kane, of Diamante Farm in Wellington, as winner of the 2KGrey Best Seat Award for Week 3 of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, in Wellington, FL.

Kane and her self-trained mount, Destiny, have been on a red-hot winning streak since debuting with Grand Prix and Grand Prix Test of Choice victories in front of Lilo Fore at the Wellington Classic Dressage Autumn Challenge, and most recently won the FEI Grand Prix Special during AGDF Week 3 at Wellington. The pair have been posting wins in the 70s and Destiny has consistently scored above 65% every time they enter the ring.

“His strong point is the one-tempi's, he loves showing them off! The rest is coming together. He hasn't said 'No' to me once and that feels great. I'm happy with how he feels and my team is phenomenal about keeping him together and feeling great.”

The 2KGrey team noted how stylishly Kane presented a 'put together' image, which included matching her helmet to Destiny's brow band.

“I try to pull a 'look' together,” said the 27 year-old trainer. “If you come into the ring looking disheveled, you're going to feel disheveled. If you come in looking your best, you're more likely to do your best.” In addition to her award, 2KGrey presented Kane with a new pair of its popular riding/streetwear jeans.

“These are awesome!” she said. “I'm familiar with 2KGrey and I think their pants are wonderful.”

“The Best Seat Award was created for riders like Devon who understand the importance of looking and feeling your best,” said Pinto. “Wellington riders want to look good when they show or school, and more and more, they are choosing 2KGrey.”

What sets the 2KGrey look apart is functionality. As a riding pant that looks just as great as jeans outside the barn, it offers the added value of a performance pant that doubles as an everyday pant, with a flattering fit and fashion-forward detailing.

The best seats – in the ring or the house – this season at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival belong to 2KGrey. Learn more about its stylish line of women's equestrian fashion and more at www.2kgrey.com.
